This thread is a question directed to SONY employees. Please don't answer if you're not one of them. Don't try to hand me a line, make a statement. If you can't handle updating your own phone let us rollback to 4.3 via OTA.
P.S. I'm not going to wipe any data from my phone anymore.
Solved! Go to Solution.
I'm realy suprised why SONY waits? I know that making two or three updates costs more money than only one but hey, not only Z1C owners read this and other forums.
I'm not trying to scare anyone from SONY (furtermore it's a corporation - nobody cares) but I'm too tired with this phone to buy another one from this company in the future. I still have my SE K800i and it's one of the best phones I've had. Z1C... When I unpacked box I was suprised by the lack of Vol+ and Vol- buttons in headset. Then I compared Z1C to my iPhone and sadly got to know that Z1C is QUIET!!! I've even painted the case to get rid off led bleed (it works). Z1C, forget it...You're a nuisance. I'm tired.
http://developer.sonymobile.com/downloads/xperia-open-source-archives/open-source-archive-for-build-... only need wait few days for pcc or ota update
The update is available with PCC.
its availble but this update its F***** s*** its dont repair audio bug !!! SONY u need FIRE UR DEVELOPERS !!!!!
Still have audio problems here. My alerts usually start playing for like half a second (sometimes distorted), then starts playing normally from the beginning again.
My audio was fixed, but battery-drain is still extreme.. My battery drains in 4 hours... Before the update, i could use it for two days without charging it...
Update installed on my device. I used to have sound problems described in the forums, such as ringing on internal speaker, crackeling noise on notification, udge battery drain even on stamina mode.
The new update resolves the pb of speaker, and battery drain. It's now working like a charm, just as it was on 4.2 firmware.
There still seems to be some crackeling noise, but that's not a real problem for every day use...
Thanks Sony, but next time, try to communicate a bit faster on new release and software bugs !!!
