Hello, I'm facing a problem with my Z5 (latest update installed). Sometimes, when I receive a phonecall , sxreen remains black for a few seconds (3-4, maybe 5) which is very annoying.
Seems like my phone can't wake up from deep sleep. Any solutions? I have done a sw repair, but it didnt help.
My phone is Sony Z5 , using the laters 7.1.1 sw (32.4.A.1.54).
Proximity sensor has nothing to do with my problem, because my problem is NOT during a phone call but it is when my phone is ringing because I' m receiving a phone call. Phone is ringing, vibration is working, but the screen takes a while to light up. (4-5-6 seconds). Very very annoyning!!! Not always happens!
*proximity sensor is not blocked anyway.... I think it is a sw bug.
Haven't try that yet, because the problem occurs occasionally.

Hi, there's one setting I recommend checking and turning off before fault finding this problem and it's "Power Button ends call" in SETTINGS»Accessibility
This enables you to force backlight to turn on during calls without ending the call.
From here, isolating the problem is much easier
also
add every system app to battery optimisation for now, but mainly:
anything to do with Qualcomm, backlight, adaptive brightness and the codeaurora
there's some bugs that Google introduced when they turned quick settings to inconvenient settings
use this as a rough guide.

If you guys don't believe me about the UI bugs, I will post a video.
