What Micro SD memory card to use?

Hi,

Thinking of purchasing a SD Micro memory card for my Z1 compact. I understand that the Z1 can go up too 64GB, but there are so many different makes of memory cards on the market I'm a little complexed at what one to purchase.

Should I stick with a Sony branded card or does it really not make any difference what card I purchase? I'll probably only need 32gb.

Any helpful hints or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, stick with a well known make.....buy from a reputable dealer, i have always used Sandisk & never had any problems, i usually buy from My Memory....very reputable & great prices :smileysmileywink:

and make sure it's a minimum of a class 10

When you get it check it's genuine and not a fake card using a free program called h2testw read more here if you are interested

Oh eck, never even thought about getting a fake! Will use this program when it turns up.

Lots of fakes on Amazon even Amazon themselves are selling them
