Waterproof nightmare...

Hello Sony support,

I brought my Sony Z3 24.01.2015. serial [removed by Hampus]
Yesterday first time i been try to take underwater picture in swimming pool.

I been check booth side if is closed ok, and it was.
It wasn’t longer then 20 min and 1,00m deep…
Been take few pic and i drayed phone with towel and left in locker.
When i back phone was turn off and warm.
After that its start to turn on and off all the time.
Camera had white spot on it.

Today i went to service cause i have 2 years warranty and they told how I’m wrong cause I been take pictured underwater… I still don’t know why Sony sell Z3 as waterproof phone.

I was HUGE Sony fun until yesterday, PS Vita, PS4…
I been collect 6 months to buy this phone (500€ it just too much when you have payment 200€), imagine now I can just keep it as souvenir as remainder never buy anything from Sony ever!
Yeah I live in Bosnia and Herzegovina… No official Sony support.

Its one of the worst day in my life!
Thank you Sony!

You should have rinsed the phone in clean water as most swimming pools are chlorinated.

No no no. After 1 wash in a chlorinated water it couldn't damage your device. The shop you went to is probably un professional and they simply know nothing about phones. You need to send the device to sony and request for a vacuum test. If both flaps where closed properly then its the device fault!
