Hello,
I found that my phone is vibrating on the charger. I tried to stop the vibration, but it just keep vibrating and power off does not work either. Is there any way to stop this? I have no idea why this happened.
You may need to perform a software repair using PC Companion. The process will erase all internal memory. You might need to charge your device for about 1-2 hours before so the device has at least 60% battery.
Make sure the device is not connected to computer or laptop and turned off (sometimes you have to press power button and volume up until the device vibrates 3 times or on some devices you have to press the small button near the SIM tray or on the back of the device).
Open PC companion->support zone->phone/tablet software update->repair my phone/tablet blue highlighted.Follow the steps given,do not connect your phone until prompted to press volume down while plugging USB cable. If PC companion does not start the repair process, you might need to run it in compatibility mode with Windows 7 (in some cases XP).
Thanks,
But the vibration did not stop with the solution.
I already tried that. They told me to book repair, but the booking also has a problem and they cannot do anything until on Monday. I am just left with this noisy phone.
So if you press power button and volume up at the same time, doesn't it turn off and stop vibrating? Also, try to force shutdown by pressing the small red button near the SIM tray.
Those are also done before software repair...
In this case, you have to wait.I am sorry.
I have same problem. Unfortunately Sony mobile phones have the worst quality in the world.
It has happened to me as well, it is very annoying, whats happening with that device?! I instaled a new softwere and still vibrating, it is no possible for me to drop off mobile to sony service so probably that mobile is going to scrap!
