Turn on the torch quickly

Hi,

I was wondering whether there's a way to quickly turn on or off the torch using the buildin flash light unit? Thanks.

I do not think there is an app for that (default),you have to open the camera.Download a 3rd party app from google play for that.I remember my old Xperia P had an app called torch,useful.

Besides the ordinary torch applications (with widgets) downloadable in the Google Play Store there are several torch Small Apps, too. You can download them directly via Play Store or over the link inside the Small App drawer. I would recommed you Flash Small App by Renaud Aste, which is available for free. That would reduce the required clicks to two, at least.

I use Tiny Flashlight

You can also enable as a widget on the widget on the locked screen. Setting/security/enable widgets.

Then on the locked screen you can swipe right the clock the you have a + sign. Tap and you can add the flashlight

Actually you can just use a flashlight small app.

This happened to me just recently on my experia z1 compact,go to your home screen,pull down the blind to reveal a torch, tap this to switch off,

Open tool bar on top of home screen and it is already there.
