Spotify stops after each song

Hey Everyone!

I recently switched from iPhone to Xperia z5 compact, so I don't know if this is an issue which already affected previous models.

Basically, I usually listen to music using bluetooth headphones. However, this is not always possible and I sometimes need to use devices with a cable.

Now, I've been mainly using apps like Spotify and Deezer to listen to my music and whenever I am on one of these with cable headphones or if I plug a cable to connect my phone to my car speakers, annoying things happen. In fact, in these situations, I can only play one song, after which the music stops and I have unlock the phone, access the app and start the new one from the app itself (it doesn't work from the lock screen or the notification centre). This problem is affecting only third parties apps apparently, or Deezer and Spotify. In fact, if I use the Sony Music app, cable headphones work fine.

Does anyone have an idea how to solve this issue, or what it could be? I assume it's a software bug.

Hey!
The problem is gone. I don't know if it was the update, the fact that I uninstalled podio or that I changed a setting in spotify.

Try to clear the SmartConnectapp data.
Also, are you using the Music app or are you opening the music files through the file commander?

How to clear data on apps.
From your Home screen
1. Tap the Application screen icon.
2. Find and tap Settings > Apps.
3. Swipe to the All tab.
4. Find and tap on the SmartConnect app.
5. Tap Force stop > Clear data.
6. Restart the phone

Nope, no change at all.

I'm using the music app, not the file commander.

Deezer and Spotify don't even appear in safe mode.

Safe mode will disable third party apps, but test the Music app.

The music app is not showing the issue. It's only the third-party apps which do not work properly on cable headphones

@Actinium

Where is the Music stored?

Do you have any antivirus or taskillers ?

The music is stored on some server.. Spotify and Deezer, you know?

The only taskiller I have is Stamina (aka no), but even if.it's disabled, it doesn't matter.

Been there, done that... Didn't solve the problem, Phy.
