My phone is not charging. When I put it on the charger, the LED blinks red, then green, then not at all (3 ceconds) then red and then green and stays then green all the time.
When I try to turn it on it is always at 0 %. I'm charging it with an USB cable, tried the little button next to the sim card, changed the cable but nothing works.
Is there anything else I can do?
Hi @Tzändi,
I will assume that you are using a original Sony charger, am i right?
If you connect your device to your PC, Xperia Companion recognize it?
Did you try a forced reset?
If a forced restart procedure doesn't succeed, you should try the 2-minute restart procedure.
Do not use overly sharp objects that could damage the OFF button. |
Hi @Tzändi, sorry to hear about this.
If you still are not able to charge the device after following the instructions given by @diogosimoes4321. Do you have another wall mounted charger that you can try and charge the device with? Any Xperia charger will do just fine, so if one of your friends, colleagues or family members also owns an Xperia device you can them if you can borrow their charger for a bit.
The next thing to try if you can't charge the device after trying the troubleshooting above is to perform a software repair using Xperia Companion.
This will delete all data stored on the internal storage of the device and reinstall the latest available software for your device. Since the device can't be powered on, I'm afraid that it will not be possible for you to create a backup.
Let us know how it goes!
