Sony xperia z2.no tone when receiving sms messages

Hi, I can't get any notification sounds from my Z2, I think I've accidentally turned something on or off but I can't get sounds out of it.

Hi @Georgewinrow1300, sorry to hear about this.

To start with, I would recommend that you check that the application is not blocked from sending notifications. To do that, go to Settings > Apps > Messaging > Notifications. Make sure that this is not set to "Blocked".

You can also try restarting your device in safe mode and ask someone to send you a text message and see if you hear any notification sound when downloaded applications aren't loaded.
