Sony Xperia Z1 compact microphone doesnt work during calls.

Like the title states that for about a week now my microphone just randomly stopped working during calls, i can use snapchat and record videos and it picks up sound fine but when i try to make a call the person cannot hear me at all even though i can hear them fine. I have troubleshot this and did a pc repair through the sony companion and nothing has helped. was wondering if anybody had any idea how to fix this.

how do i boot it on my phone ive tried what people say but holding the power + volume down does not boot it to safe mode and holding the power button then tapping it again doesnt bring up the boot option it only makes my lock screen happen.

i also did the diagnostic and the sound from the microphone was extremely faint and weak.

i have tried both ways of booting it and when i hold the power button and volume down button it just does the boot screen looping like 10 times then just boots normally. I have treind changing the microphone noise suppression setting, i reset the phone, i dont know what to do next.

i bought a replacement microphone part and had it re sautered and that fixed my problem thanks for the no help forum.
