No,sorry. The messages by default are stored on internal.

If you are worried that they may take a lot of space: SMS are in KB size and even if you have loads of them they'll not occupy any significant space on your internal memory.

If you need keep them safe when you have to reset or repair your phone, you can still back them up with either "Back up & restore" app on your phone, or PC Companion on your desktop/laptop.
