Does anyone know how much it will cost me to repair my screen? I still have 6 months left on my contact i never took out the insurance at the time my friends tell me Sony may repair it free of charge because it is within 2 years. Has anyone heard this?

@Alias999 I am sure that in europe you get 2 years of warranty, 1 year in other countries, but not for damage provoked by the end user, although it's "unofficially" known about some small cracks with no reason whatsoever, a full smashed screen won't be covered by the warranty. 

I can only advise you to contact Local support.

I'm sorry to hear that. As @YoGem suggested, only your Local support can answer questions you may have about warranty coverage, repair cost and service procedures. If you contact them they will assist you in getting your phone repaired.

Screen cracked after changing the glass from another crack. It seems my model has a defect as I did not drop it or crack it. Crack developed in lower left part of screen and continued until phone is now unusable. I do love the features but not sure this model is a good one. Bought a cheaper Samsung and maybe I'll drop using/repairing my Experia. Lets see what Sony Repair says.

I am too but deciding to go to Samsung as Sony says misterious crack is my problem

This is second screen repair in 2 months - something wrong with it

I think it costs about $100

Suggest you take phone back to store and say you've heard complaints on misterious glass breakages with Experia. I'm moving to Samsung after lodging complaint to FCC. Maybe that will get their attention.

I do love the features but cannot afford to repair glass regularly
