SD card disappeared

Hi - Please help!

My phone memory was approaching full (z5 compact - 32GB).

I bought a SanDisk ultra 32GB and transferred files this morning (about 10GB in total). All seemed good for an hour or so then suddenly, unprompted, all apps that were transferred to SD card disappeared and now neither phone nor laptop will recognise the card.

Is there anything I can do, or is it lost forever? Deliberately bought a decent make to avoid this happening!

Put it in a computer, copy everything, and reformat it using a proper partitioning tool.

Diskpart built in to Windows might be able to read the disk.

Also, can you take a photo of the front and back of the SD, I want to see if it's a genuine SanDisk... if you bought it from a camera or retail store, don't worry, but if from ebay, then take a pic.

Return it to the store actually, if you did buy from a store.
