Screen doesn't react

So I called Sony and I can't reach an employee and I didn't get an answer to my email so here i am 

my screen of the Sony xperia z1 compact doesn't react anymore. I did a reset to factory settings and all but it didn't work. I can connect a mouse but the touch is broken I guess. What do I do?

Yeah I called them, listened to a stupid jingle for 6 minutes and nothing happend so I hung up

Well there's nothing else I can suggest as this is a user based forum.

Dear all

I just had the same problem and the support was clueless and suggested that I send in the mobile.

Luckily a friend suggested to use the "monkey grip", meaning to press all outside buttons at the same time. It worked!

The mobile restarted and works again.

What a pity that a paid Sony employee does not know the very simple solution ;-)!
