Screen and Battery

Hi, I've had my Xperia Z2 for more than a week now and I've noticed some spots or patterns on the screen when exposed to sunlight or any bright light for that matter (the screen viewing of the Z2 under direct sunlight is just superb), it's kinda bothersome and annoying, is the screen of the Z2 really like that? (it glitters/sparkles under direct sunlight)
Plus, ever since I've updated to 4.4.4 Kitkat, the battery performance was just bad even though it's just on standby mode that I couldn't last for more than 7-8 hrs on a single charge. Lastly the charging, it's taking me 4hrs or more to completely charge the phone from a drain battery and no I'm not using any 3rd party charger adapter or cable. The I'm using the EP880 adapter and the EC803 micro usb cable.
Has anyone experienced this problem ever since upgrading from 4.4.4?

Hi, the pattern you see is the digitizer & perfectly normal so nothing to worry about :smileysmileywink:

Ohh... Thank you. But what about the slow charging and fast drain of the battery?

Slow charging it's normal if you are using the phone or use multiple background apps. keep in mind that charging through a computer will take a lot longer to charge than a regular wall charger

Also try to start charging your phone from 10% upwards........try not to let it fully drain/shut down before re-charging it  :smileysmileywink:

Actually I charge my phone when it reaches around 15-25%.
Plus I always charge with my Z2 turned off and usually takes 4 hrs. to fully charged at most.
or do I need to get my phone to sony?
