Hi just wondering if issues with repair and complaints is common?
I sent my phone for repair as it has issues with the screen going black when making a call and having to turn the phone off to stop a call.
I sent it for repair after doing a software reinstallation (which didnt make any difference) as advised by a member of sonys team.
I was told it was a issue with the display and would be more than the phone is worth ,so decided i would carry on and pay the £20 to have it returned.
As soon as it arrived home i reinstalled my accounts etc and attempted to use the camera,which would not start up in any way.I checked for updates etc and contacted sony again as it was not working at all.I was assurred it would be sent for repair and no charge would be made.
I have since had a quotation again! with the same description that my display is at fault,however that was never an issue for the camera prior to being sent for repair.I am in limbo now awaiting a response for my complaint ,any similar issues from anyone and soloutions?
