"com.google.process.gapps has stopped"

So today, i got a notice that the latest update for my Z1 was available.

Im running Android 4.4.4 with the specific version14.4.A.0.157

Right after the update i started getting intermittent messages that Google Play has stopped as well as "com.google.process.gapps has stopped"

I tried to clear the cache for Google Play, as well as inactivating it, but that doesnt help. I also turned the autosync off, and removed my google-account from the phone, and tried to log in to it again, but that doesnt help. Now i cant even log on to any of my Google accounts from the phone, as the login screen just freezes.

What can I try now, other than resetting my phone?

I saw a thread for a Samsung phone on the web, that suggested that i should clear the cache for the Google Services Framework in my apps, but i can't find that application.

Thankfull for any anwers.

Settings-apps-all,look for google services application and try what you have suggested yourself.

First I reset all 'Apps' I fixed it by going to 'APPS' then select 'ALL' select 'Google Play services' Then i Cleared the cache but more importantly Click 'MANAGE SPACE ' then on the new screen scroll down to the bottom & click 'CLEAR DATA'......Hopefully that will clear it up ...Good Luck !
