Quickly discharged battery

I have a question. I have a xperia z1 compact for 2 years and lately the battery charged when it reaches 40% is downloaded up to 0% instantly. I would like to know if it is already a phone problem or maybe it could be another cause

Hello
My Z1 is discharged very quickly and when I put it on mains, it does not charge itself. And when I get it started, it starts to install applications (software about 145) but never go to the end of this download, because it stops almost instantly. Please note that it has been reset. Thank you for your reply.
Cordially.

I had same problem. In my case changing the battery solved it. Few months down in the forum there are more people who had success with a new battery, so it seems worth while trying.

Hello.

I'm having the same problems for a few weeks now and i think it's getting worse. From 50% to 0% or even more. I have my Z1 compact for 2 years and was happy with it ubtil this.

I Bought a new battery a few days ago and changed it and i did the repair Pc Companion thing but nothing seems to work. I don't know what to do now.

Please Help.

Android version : 5.1.1

I have a similar experience. When using my Z1C, the battery suddenly gets down from 80% to 0% and the phone switches off. If the phone is in a stand-by status, no problems, neither if I use it for 1-2 minutes. The only solution I found up to now is to keep it on charge when I need to use it for messaging or web, but it's a big limit! Do you please have any suggestion? My next step is buy a power bank... I don't know how open the phone and change battery... Do you please have any suggestion? Thank you!

Translation via Google Translate:

At me, the same problem with the Z1 Compact battery. Such problems for all. I have just finished the warranty period of the device (3 years), and there was a problem with the battery! Replacing the battery does not solve the problem! The reason in the Lollipop device software, that is, Sony loses its quality

have you checked the graph shown in settings-battery usage. It shows the drains of your battery according to time. If it shows a sudden decrease in your battery from 40% to 0% or like then the problem is with your battery. I too experienced a faster battery drains until i updated the operating system. But my battery drains was always at constant rate and had no sudden drains.

Hi,

I dont guarentee its success rate but just try this.

Empty the battery then keep it on that way for a day. Next day try to charge it to 100%, remove it from plug and keep it turned off till a 7 or 8 hrs. then try to use and check for any improvements.
