Problems backing up 'my data' for Z5 compact

Hello,

I keep trying to backup all 3 options to my laptop, however the 'permissions' settings are preventing this (given 'permissions needed' prompt but selecting 'transfer' on my phone then 'ok' on my laptop doesnt work). Can you please Help as i cant find settings in my phone to resolve the issue.

are you using xperia back up and restore app or the google save and restore?
