Problem with fingerprint scanner

I had started to use my z5 again two months ago

It doesn't had any problem before,but after updating to android 7.0 the finger print scanner is working odd

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't..


I googled about it and saw many others having the same problem..


What shall i do now,is there any tweaks..?

Sorry about my english,my native language isnt English so i have bit difficulties with it.

The same. It writes - fingerprint hardware is not available.

How did you perform the update? Xperia Companion?

System update notification had shown in phone an i choose to update

I had treid few app locks
Like cm lock

And i found that finger print works perfectly with those apps

I had the same issue "fingerpring hardware not available" and had to send it to repair under warranty. Take care that your earphones keep working after that because frequently it's messed up during repair.
