When I connect my Xperia Z1 compact to my PC via a USB cable, on the phone it repeatedly keeps flashing 'Connected to Computer'; 'connected to charger'; 'install software'. On the computer is keeps opening multple versions of the same window (Camera Upload), about every second, until I disconnect the USB cable. This happens whether I have Sony Companion installed or not.
When I check the software update on the phone it says it is up to date.
I have WIndows 7 on my computer.
I tried a different UBS port.
I want to transfer phots from my phone to the computer. - Can't get bluetooth to pair, nor Wifi so cable is last resort!
