After I reset my Xperia z1, both Windows devices do not recognize it (connected another smartphone to make sure that problem was my phone). And it's not even charging from pc's, only from charger. Any thoughts how to fix it?
Hi @Hikarri, welcome to the community.
What version of Windows is your PC using? Have you tried different USB cables/USB ports?
Hello, my pc is windows 10, and laptop 8.1, yes I've tried different ports and cables, couldn't solve the problem yet. I was wandering if I can download Kitkat factory reset version and install it? Because one more thing happened to phone, Facebook and Facebook messenger both blink after being installed and won't open. Maybe sth is wrong with my factory reset files?
In order to apply any firmware you'd need to be able to establish a connection to your PC anyway.
Try enabling USB debugging mode.
To do this please go to Settings > About Phone and tap on the build number several times until it says "You are now a developer.
Go back to settings, and there will be a new option called "Developer options". Go in here and turn on 'USB debugging'.
Adjusting the USB suspend settings might also fix the malfunctioning device. To do that, you should select Power Options from the Win + X menu again.
