Hi All
Xperia Z1 updated to Lollipop.
And my once fantastic phone now drives me crazy.
Where did completely turn off buzzes etc go for night time ?
Now every so often a notification buzz will sound. I have spent ages disabling notification for apps to no avail.
Where it used to live in a charger base beside the bed it now has to live in another room.
**bleep** is going on Sony ? Where di our completely mute function go ?
How can we stop annoying vibrating buzzes that we don't want to hear ?
I really hope someone knows the solution or Sony are addressing this because frankly it has screwed up my phone.
Next step is trying to downgrade it back to 4.2.2
On my Sony xperia z3 compact, after Lollipop update which I now wish I hadn't done, the 3 icons silent, vibrate and volume disappeared. Now one has to use the volume button on the side, but when volume is turned down completely the phone still vibrates for anything (notifications etc.) and it wakes me up!!! Please help!!!! How can I put the phone on silent with NO vibration???
Press volume button once, you'll get the new sound menu with 3 options: Silent, Priority, and Sound. Choose Silent.

Thanks Quester. However, when doing that the phone still vibrates on silent. Before you could choose between EITHER silent OR vibration. Any idea how to get the phone completely silent i.e. no vibration? Do you now need to press no interruptions indefinitely??? Not sure what the interruptions mean? Do you simplu not hear a notification or will it not be sent?
Lollipop made this a bit more complicated, you can set the phone to silent and select which apps/services you want to receive notifications
