Notification bar and bottom buttons not working

Hi, I have been having a problem with my Sony Xperia Z3 Compact. For some reason it won't allow me to pull down the notification bar anymore. And since yesterday the bottom buttons have also stopped functioning. I can't really exit any app and the phone has become pretty much unusable. Does anyone know a solution for this issue? Would this fall under the warranty that comes with the phone?

I already tried a factory reset but it does nothing the solve the issue.

I've got this iaaue after I updated the Z3 to Marshmallow!!
I can pull notification bar only when the phone is locked.
Did someone get a solution for this??

I have my Z3c at the (By SONY Malaysia) requested service center due to this problem, been promised a reply within a week.

My Notification Bar also stopped working from yesterday in potrait mode. However it is working in the landscape though.

Please help. My 1 year got completed 4 days back. i am worried weather warranty is still applicable or not.

sony says to send it to service ...but how can you live without the phone when you have to work...looks like they are loosing every client they've got
