No Repair For Xperia Z...?

My Xperia Z SIM Card Slot Is Not Working and I Went To Sony Autorised Service Center (Indira Nagar,Bangalore) And They Told Me There Is No Service For Z.

At The Same Time One Of The Staff Told Me That They Will Call Me Back Within 3days After Getting Approval From H/O For Replacement Of Mobile..,But Still There Is No Response..

    Why There Is No Repair..? I Have Paid 38k For Buying It..Even Apple Has Repair..

what a horrible service department !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i send in a phone for repair that i am more than willing to pay for and they refuse to repair it ?

what kind of service department is that????????????

Hi Alex,

I just replying to this conversation , since I am facing same issue.

I took phone to service center (Koramangala, Bangalore), they tried updating software and the issue still persisted.

finaly they said problem with mother board and cannot be repaired, so have to buy refurbished or new phone, am fine paying money to get it repaired, but they are saying they cannot.

Problem with my phone is I can't receive any call, No sound from external speakers, No sound from earpiece, all Inbuilt app like

Youtube, Music, Camera are not working, it says unfortunately 'Camera' stopped working,

other apps like whatsapp... works perfect. what do you think the problem is ?

give me as suggestion to handle this, if you have anything.

I am in this forum for few years now, and I loved Sony products( have already 6 devices with me), this is pissing me off and pushing me not to buy no more products from Sony, I know losing me will not make much difference, but it will make difference since Sony gonna miss one customer.

I bought a Sony Xperia,about Eight Months back from Poorvika,Kammanahalli,Bangalore. About one month back,when doing meditation in the park,I just kept the phone in Back pocket and doing meditation,once I got up, i was shocked to see that the display was cracked,I saw there was nothing in my back pocket which can be the reason for the display to get cracked,neither the pocket was tight. I contacted the Indiranagar and Jayamahal Service center, both said it will cost Eleven TYhousand and will take one month. I really cursed myself that day for buying a sony product. I have only one phone and cand keep it with the company for one month, so after hearing from a friend ,went to SP road,Bangalore,and got the Display changed,which was not original,but after two days I can see that the brightness has dropped to 50%. Iam really unhappy, and have no choice to just keep the phone in my cupboard and forget it. I am planning to buy a new phone,of course not from Sony at any cost,and throughout my life will tell others not to buy any Sony mobile,as they dont bother to protect their own customers,who pays them their hard earned money to buy their products,which has guarantee only on paper not in practical,even if customer is ready to pay the charge,they still dont provide support.
