No Data after Lollipop Update using PC Companion

Hello,

I have an issue! Please read til the end.

After I updated my Xperia Z to Lollipop a few days ago over the phone, the wifi stopped working. I read a few forums which said I need to repair the software update using PC Companion. So i did that today (it took me a couple hours including back up time, and then restore) and the wifi worked! But now it cannot detect data.

Does anyone have this problem or can anyone help me with a solution?

Settings > more > internet settings > accept > wait > wait > wait > restart the phone > check again .

You can try settings-more-internet settings-accept.

Hi @alexdon and @uliwooly I tried that many many many times and it also did not work. My call settings are at full bar though

have you restricted background data? 

what if you boot on safe mode?

Thanks for your help @uliwooly. Figured out the problem and it was that my phone was barred! All is in order now
