Hi guys,
I hope someone here can help me out. I was upgrading my android yesterday for 6.0, and now the phone only shows error when turned on.
I know, I could use Sony Companion to repair the software, but the problem is that my computer cannot recognize the phone in the usb drive and the phone when connected throught the cable is constantly turning on with the error message.
Do some of you maybe know how to solve this? Thank you, much appreciated.
Hi @ivkamacicka,
Welcome to the community,
I am really sorry to hear about this
I suggest running Xperia Companion and starting the Software repair process, once you get to the stage to connect the device press and hold the Volume Up key and the Power button together for around 10 seconds.
Once the device is completely powered down, then try connecting whilst holding down the Down Volume key.
If done correctly the device should not boot.
Let me know how you get on.
I am sure, I am doing everything correctly, the device is still booting when holding the volume down button and connecting :(, I have no idea why.
i also faced that kind of problem in xperia z3 dual those days. so i flash it in correct softwere version after that no issues found. then try to flash your phone using flashtool
I'm sorry to hear that, have you tried other USB ports on the PC as well as rebooting the PC?
If none of this works, you could attempt this task on another PC. I do not suggest using Flash Tools as you may void the warranty on your product.
The best course of action if none of the above work is to contact Customer Care, they can help get the device to a service agent so the device can be repaired if required.
Let me know how you get on.
