My device gets warm with use

When i use my z5 phone
Applications, games or browsing web pages
The phone becomes very hot from the top part next to the rear camera ....
is this normal?

It is completely normal that heat is generated while the device is use, especially during heavy use such as gaming. Heat may be generated more quickly depending on the load, for example if you run a lot of processes and apps, it will generate heat quicker than it would during simple light load.

There is built-in protection which prevents the device from over heating. The device starts by turning off apps in order to cool down, and in extreme cases the device may turn off completely in order to cool down.

However, if you are worried about your device and the heat it generates then I would suggest that you have it sent to an authorized service center so that a technician may examine it for you. In order to do so, I recommend getting in touch with your Local support in order to be assisted as they are well informed with your local service routines and warranty terms.

Did you have the chance to read my previous reply in this thread? In addition I'd also like to note that the climate in your area affects this as well - for example if it's very sunny and warm outside and your device is exposed to direct sun light, this will also contribute to heat building up quicker than normal.
