Music stops... With every player!

Hello all,

I am facing problems with ALL music players on my Xperia Z3 Compact. The music stops to play afetr some minutes, again and again. Sometimes it plays 3 minutes, sometimes 10 or 20 or 30 and it stops.
It doesn't matter which player i am using (Spotify, Walkman, TuneIn Radio), and/or the music is a stream or a locally saved MP3 File. It continues to stop always!

First of all i thought it was a dirty Headphone jack, that "simulates" a plug-out of the jack connector - but i am facing the same issue if i am connected to speakers or my car sound system by bluetooth (even in Chromecast mode!).

I waited for Lollipop 5, since i had this already under Lollipop 4 - but the update brought no change!!

Does anybody has an idea where i should start troubleshooting, or better who can give me a solution? Does anybody out there has/d the same problem?

Thanks!
Manuel

Boot on safe mode, check if that works, if it does then it's third party acting up

On My Z1C I used Stamina mode and I am pretty sure I had to add my PowerAmp music player to the Stamina -> Apps in Active Standby list for it to work correctly...

I am having the same problem since I switched off the Google Maps "shake to send feedback" feature. I switched it back on but the problem persists. The player(s) only stop when I'm on the move (eg. walking) and is fine when still (eg. on the table). Any idea of how to fix that?

I have the exact same problem on my Xperia Z5 compact (E5823) on Android 6.0.1.

Did you find a likely reason? The post says you've solved the problem.

If it provides any help, check your Google app settings. The voice search might be the reason behind it. You shouldn't have a problem if you use headphones with no microphone. If you do, it's causing that due to the Google app trying to fetch your voice at any time for a search at your command. Go to Google app settings and in voice search disable the "search from any screen" feature. Then remove your phones, press play once or twice, plug them back in and play again and it should be fixed.

I uninstalled Avast Battery Saver and seems to have cured the same problem for my Sony Z5: my Bluetooth play back to my Boss speaker kept cutting out when my phone went on standby. Despite me "allowing" all my music apps to continue to run in the background, it still kept cutting the music. Just about to leave a stinking review for Avast on Google play. It was driving me nuts!
