Mobile Network/data only work in 2 G speed

Hi,

My cell phone is japan version cell phone. I using it in US. The cell phone was unlocked. Cell phone network/data is only working 2 G speed. Phone calls, messages are working fine, but network/data can't be go up to 3G or 4G speed. How can I fix the problem?

I use T-mobile cell service.

It sounds like your device might not support the 4g bands that your operator runs on. 

Different region devices sometimes have limited use in non native regions.
