Microphone Problem only in Regular Calls| Lolipop 5.0.2

Hi everyone,

I have Z1 for one year, and it was really nice time, recently i upgrade to Lolipop 5.0.2, but then the mic stop working good.

If i make or recieve  a normal call, the other side can not hear me well, the vocie is bad and sometime its gone totally.

But if i try to recode a voice or movie or even make an internet call using Watts App or Facebook massenger, the mic is okay and fine.

Only in regular call it stop working good.

No it doesn't work still. my mic on z1c comes and goes after I started activating Skype, I restart and it works for one call on Skype, then stops working again

Hi,

I have Xperia Z1 which is 1 year 3 months old. My phone was working fine so far.

Suddenly people on other side can't hear me properly during outgoing call.

My is breaking or not clear to them.

My phone is showing full network.

I have an issue on my z1 since lollipop if i use teamspeak3 or mumble voice app with headset my mic level is very very low. People can t hear me. I have to do a real call and use pause while the call and my mic works fine in teamspeak3 or mumble.

The bug started since the update to lollipop 5 then 5.0.1 i think the problem come from lollipop not from the ap dev... It s from android itself i think.

I have the same problem and it is driving me crazy on my Xperia Z3 on 5.1.1. My wife also had the issue in her Z3 compact and i had to wipe the phone. When we call, people cannot hear us. At best, turning on the speaker solves the situation. At worst, it's impossible to place a working call. It seems the issue was introduced since Lollipop, as I never experienced such an issue before.

I had this problem, and despite updating the software, doing full resets, switching off all the audio enhancements etc, my voice could still barely be heard on phone calls.

I sent the phone to Sony and they fixed it in about a week. So if your phone is under guarantee - under 2 years old in the UK, if all suggestions fail - organise a Sony repair.

finally this bug has been fixed in 5.1.1.. thanx to developers.

5.1.1. did not fixed the problem in my phone 

All of a sudden (with no reason) the microphone stopped working. People can hear a very stong noise, like wind, but not my voice. That already happened with the old Lolipop version, I've just updated the phone to 5.1.1 but the problem is not fixed.

I run the Diagnostic and it's detecting the same problem. Also the Light Sensor is not working properly.

I've disabled the "Microphone noise suppression" and "Speaker voice enhancement". Problem still there
