Microphone not working

I have a Z5, it's been almost 2 years since I bought it. There was no problem about the microphone since last week but since then my microphone only works when I have a headphone plugged in and even when that headphone has no microphone, the one in my phone works normally. So the microphone only works when I'm using a headphone.

@ThereamDream this is weird... can you check something for me? dial *#*#7378423#*#*, and go to Service tests. plug your headphones without the mic, and do Microphone test and Secondary microphone test. perhaps the phone defaults to the secondary microphone for some reason when you plug the headphones in?

I was able to hear my voice from the secondary microphone test but not from the microphone test.
