Message to Sony

Dear Sony, you have ruined the z5 with your 7.1.1 update. In my opinion it is still the best looking phone you have built to date. The speaker slots are what made the decision easy to make the purchase. All your new phones have those ugly small slots on them now. I love my Z5 and don't want to switch. I bought two sets of your MDR-XB50BS headphones and a MDR-ZX220BT. We purchasers would love an update to 8.0 when available. I'm sure the processor is capable of the update. If not at least make a new phone that looks like the Z5 with all your latest features and camera. I will definitely be a buyer.

Anyone with similar thoughts or concerns write a note here to Sony. Thanks Sony loyalists.

I hope Sony's developers reading this… Definitely ruined — I can't control bluetooth speaker volume from my Z5C anymore. "Absolute volume" worked in Marshmallow, but it is broken in Nougat. Nougat even has an option to "disable absolute volume", but it is a dummy switch — it does nothing. I would want an 8 upgrade, IF it will fix Bluetooth problems. I even ready to patch it by myself, if someone tells me where to look (could it be bt stack settings? Avrcp profile?). If it will not resolve, my only way is to downgrage to Marshmallow.
