Make a dbk back up file compatible for Xperia Z1

Is there any way to convert a dbk file, that has been created by Sony PC Companion 2.1 from my old SonyEricsson W595, into a dbk file that is compatible for my Sony Xperia Z1 running Androïd 4.4.2?

My old W595 phone broke down recently and cannot be started up again. So PC Companion can't get into it anymore, and hence, its Xperia Transfer tool is of no use to me.

I purchased a Z1 instead of my broken phone. But to my disappointment - and anger - PC Companion tells me that all the dbk files on the hard disk of my Windows 7 PC, aren't compatible for my Z1!

I never thought that performing back ups regularly and staying within the brand upon purchasing a new mobile device, could lead a Sony customer into such an unpleasent experience.

How to recover my extended contact list, notes, agenda, etc. ?

You won't be able to make the backup compatible with Z1.
