Low microphone volume on 5.1.1

Ever since I updated my z3 to 5.1.1 there are problems with microphone. The in call volume of microphone is very low. People on the other side can't hear me. I literally have to scream for them to hear me.
Another bug is that when I am using Skype with headphones on the person on other side can't hear me at all.

These are serious bugs. I though Sony would push an update.but it has been long. And there isn't any fix yet. The Device is not able to perform the primary task of a phone.


Please help me fix the issue.

The low microphone volume will be solved (most probably) if you uninstall Skype, it has been causing microphone problems since 5.1.1, give it  try.

It increased the volume a bit. But it is kinda annoying to uninstall Skype because I use it almost everyday. Which is technically not a solution.

You should go to Skype's page on Google Play and leave this feedback, may be the developers fix it.
