loose magnetic charging port on Z2

loose magnetic charging port on Z2

I have been using the magnetic calbe to charge my Z2.

However lately i realise on disconnectin the cable, the port comes off from the phone... the magnetic portion comes off either the top or the bottom when the magenetic cable gets pull away.. is this normal?

anyone else experience this? should i be sending my phone for repairs?

Mine does the same, had the Z2 since just after launch and only last week the cover on the port just pops off every now and then, not good for a waterproof phone, this maybe a design flaw and would like it sorted ASAP as I am held to a 2 year contract. Not happy at all about this.

Better send it in for repair. I thought nothing of the prob n brought my phone for photo taking on water. Water must have seeped in as my camera lens fogged. My LCD even bled... (I didn't drop my pjone)
I bring it to service and they said the phone has corrosion this no warranty. I had to remind them this is a water proof phone!
And guess what; I sent the phone in for repair since 9 June... Til mow I haven't got it back! There is no number for me to call to enquire and when I email; they just reply saying it isn't ready on last Thursday (19June ) . I am seriously unhappy

mine also dropped out ! Xperia Care says 7-10 days and perhaps NO GUARANTEE !!! 
This is poor service. today i went to my operator, they will change it immediately...

Where are you from? You operator is nice to change the set for you. I am still waiting. No news.. 14days already! Very angry!

but they told me, that they won't accept it as guarantee like Sony because it's an "outside damage".... for me they just send it in, because i business client....

SONY where is your statement to this ?? So many people loosing this part and no reaction ?
