keyboard unavailable during a conversation

Hello everyone,
I own some day from a Z3.
When I got a phone call, the keyboard is disabled (it does not appear), either when I try to use Chrome or even if I want to send an SMS.

Does anyone have an idea?

thank you in advance

Sorry to hear that you have issues with the keyboard.

We have got some feedback that this may happen if you install our app called Smart Key. If you have this app, try to uninstall it and see if it helps.

After a long time carrying this unconvinience, it helped me resolve the problem also. Thank you.

BTW, is there any chance that this is also the reason why the screen doesn't always turn-off during a conversation?

@Mglp89

I haven't heard of any issues with the screen not turning off durting calls because of this app.

Could it perhaps be that you're tilting the phone sometimes during a call. If you tilt the phone so that the display is facing up and then cover the proximity sensor it will not turn off the display as it thinks you want to use the phone for something.

If this is not the cause i recommend that you check if the phones proximity sensor is working properly. You can do that with Xperia diagnostics.
