Issue with Gmap or GPS

Hi all,

I've some problem, i think with a sencor of my Z3c.

In fact, when i launch Gmap, Earth or any other apps using compas.

I've a deviation of 45° between the real North and what appears on my screen.

For my Z3c North is East.

So i didn't find... Anywhere to recalibrate it.

Can you help me ? Or the magic idea 🙂

Hello Oxybulles,

You need to calibrate your compass.

1. Go to the dialer and dial *#*#7378423#*#*

2. Go to Service tests

3. Scroll down to "Compass"

4. Get a good grip on your device and move it around like it says in the picture, making a sideways "8" with your hand.

Test it.

Sorry, I have the same problem, but the 8 re-calibration didn't help at all: I keep having a 45° wrong indication in alla GPS Apps, Google Maps included. If I point North I get 315° instead than 0 (or 360)°.

Any suggestion?
