I am thinking about to buy magnetic charger cable for my Xperia Z2 but I am worried about their quality, and their possible damage on Phone's battery, I am quite happy with battery performance but how it will affect
it? Also, will I connect magnetic cable to my normal wall charger adapter which I use for usb charging?
That'd be great if Sony had official magnetic charger cable except docks. Thanks, regards!

Hi
I used a 3rd party magnetic charging cable for few months to charge my Z ultra and few of my friends have been using such cables for almost a year now and there has not been any issue with it.
So yes, provided that the cable is of high quality , there should not be any harm.
However, keep in mind that you would be using such cables at your own risk. I just shared my personal experience.
You edited your reply and here's the answer for your other part > Yes, you can plug it in the charger you got with your Z2 and it would just work perfectly fine.

There are no Sony magnetic cables till the moment, yet I use one to charge my phone and I choose a more expensive one from Amazon and it works pretty well. For docks, it's variable. I used multiple 3rd party docks and some of the worked perfectly and once I had one that overheats my phone.
In all cases, you'll have to use your original wall charger head with the dock, most docks come without it. Just look on Amazon or other stores online and see user reviews, that's the only indication that may help your decision.
No problem @nanosonicf
Quester as well shared his valuable feedback and one great point which he said was to check the reviews ( if there are) before buying, which is what I did
You don't really have to worry much as long as you're using a Sony's wall charger/adapter because it's the main equipment that controls the quantity of current sent to the phone and the role of cable is to merely transmit it.
We will be waiting for your feedback.
