Internet connectivity

My new Xperia z3 will not connect to the internet.  It will sometimes operate on wifi but not always.  Several of my friends have attempted to have it connect to the internet without success.  Extremely frustrating.

have you tested a different SIM card? 

have you tested more than one WiFi/router?
