India - Xperia Z Kitkat Upgrade Roll Over Status

The Official KitKat 4.4.2 upgrade has almost reached to all countries across the globe, however, India remains the unfortunate one as always to be last the race to roll out the upgrade.

The Sony India website proudly displays that the Latest Upgrade 4.4.2 has started on 21-05-2014 on papers.

How embrassing to know that in reality, even after 2 weeks of the roll out date, Sony India says, it does not have any information on the KitKat roll out Estimated Date of Actual release.

In such a case, why can't Sony India display boldly in it's website - KitKat Upgrade roll out for Indian Customers is delayed - and own up the responsibility, and REMOVE THE DATE DISPLAYED IN THE WEBSITE (21-05-2014), rather provide EXPECTED DATE OF ACTUAL RELEASE IN INDIA. 

It's high time Sony acts responsibly and stand to it's Brand Name by providing correct information.

Even Xperia Z LTE in Indonesia still got 4.1.2 as the latest update... Dont expect too much...

4.4 kitkat is not LIFE. We have so many other works to do. After this update many update will also come probably Lemon PIE, etc

KITKAT was the last flavour for Z/ZL/ZR, Therefore sony should have done some thing better. Many regions still waiting update including India.

But such a slow pace shows the path that once NOKIA followed. What happened to NOKIA, NOW samsung may happen to SONY also.

Sony improve before somebody raise a question.

After 3 Sony Phones (P/TX/ZL) I am no longer buying Sony. Switching over to MOTO or NEXUS. MOTO speakers are so loud as compared to Sony's muted speakers. Phones are not ornaments that i should be bothered about looks. MOTO and NEXUS look cool too. Don't think sony speakers ill ever match up to MOTO's even in a phone that costs 50K in India.

#""moonsand"" buy htc one it has loud speakers and it much better than xperia phones the problem is that is only 4 ultrapixel that takes in the night much better Photos than xperia phones.
And htc one will receive updates till next year.

Same with Xperia ZR(C5502) - these guys have no idea when it will be rolled out in India.

Its so irritating, why are they coming up with false dates??

Sony has to really come up with solutions & answers.

its very much disappointing .....release date is 27-05-2014 for xperia zr c5502 and it has been 15 days aftere d date mentioned by sony nd still no update in india .....its very much irritating.....!!!!!!
