How to update 5.1.1 to rooted xperia ZR ?

Hello Guys,

I have xperia ZR C5502 rooted. I did it with  following method

Now i am not able to update using OTA. Currently i am trying with PCC but currently when i am writing this thread update is still downloading.

If update is not working with PCC also then what should i have to do? How can i update my phone?

Note:-

1. I tried factory reset after root.

2. I also remove root access from king root app before factory reset.

3. I have remove some preinstalled app 1. Google + and another is like google news or something like that only no sony app.

Please help i am stucked.

What if you use MyXperia or AndroidDeviceManager to reset the phone?

Thanks for your reply.

With android device manger it shows my current location perfectly if GPS is on.

and i think Myxperia is down or may not opening in my pc because PCC is downloading udates.

I have already activated my xperia in my phone.

But i have question is Is above things has any relation with update to 5.1.1 ?

Do you know how to manually flash using Flashtool and a .ftf firmware file

Hii,

I never did it. But i read some tutorials today for it and also downloaded sony flash tool.

But it shows me phone is locked. So i have to unlock the bootloader but when i read risk for that it tells that i can not get future updates. Can i update future updates using flash tool?

You do NOT have to unlock the bootloader

If you know how to use Flashtool not Emma and know know how to create your firmware file then you can manually flash your device

But i am success to update software using PCC right now at 2:00 am in india. 

@Thommo But with third party flash tool how can i get SONY stock rom.Is sony publish somewhere on internet?
