how to turn off talkback , unable scroll ?

iam currently using xperia ZL tried to turn on "talkback" from the settings. The phone immediately became sluggish and unresponsive, and I am now unable to scroll. This means I can't disable the feature from the settings menu. Every menu item is highlighted with a box, and accompanied by a vibration. I have tried restarting the phone with no success, so I'm now in the process of repairing the phone using PC companion. Please please please help me urgently

So I had the same problem and then i tried to scroll using 2 fingers and it worked. You should try scrolling using 2 fingers.

I have a Sony xperia M dual c2004, its a very old set. I was facing the same problem and i was unable to scroll down to accessiblity at first to turn off talkback mode from Accessibility. Then I tried scrolling my mobile phone screen using both my fingers. If u scroll with only one finger of a single hand then the scroll will not go down to Accessibilty option inside Settings. If you Scroll using both your thumbs you will see the scrolll navigating downwards into the Accessiblity option. After that I just followed the usual process: Settings>> Accessibility>> Talkback >>OFF
