Anyone? I am seeing tiny dirts in the speaker and I find it difficult to clean them.
I have a z5P and it does get dusty at the speaker area and at the cord hole at the bottom. Im thinkin using water from the tap, just a quick soak (sony does say our devices are waterproof) but I have read stories that some phones get damaged by water, even if the taps are closed. Z5 is a fine device so Im taking extra care, you should too.
I recomend a wet cloth (like cleaning a glass or lens) to clean the phone. Im doing that but the small dust is really hard to get rid out of it.
Yeah I do blow the speakers sometimes, but its seems not helping at all. It will just move into the side of the speakers where it cant be seen and accumulates.
You can clean with some water because Sony said it is water proof.I'm using bottle of water and pour it on the phone including speakers.all dust can be remove using this method.
I normally just hold the phone upside-down and blast the music at full volume and it cleans out most of the stuff. If that doesn't work and your phone's IP68 rated or better, then soak it for a couple of minutes and gently swipe the speaker holes with a thick but soft brush. There's really no objective reason to clean them, so try not to feed your OCD too much, you'll destroy the speakers; they're sort of delicate.
