How do I disable the proximity sensor on the Z5?

There is no setting to disable your proximity sensor. If you are experiencing any difficulties with your devices proximity sensor, please elaborate what these may be and I will be happy to assist.

I would like to disable the proximity sensor since it is not working anymore.

During a call I need to digit on the keyboard some code to access to some services. Since the screen remains always dark I can not access to the keyboard. 

I already tried to reinstall everything, to restart from original configuration etc... but the problem perxist. I can not go to a Sony repair service since I work with the phone all day long. For that reasons, I need to disable the proximity sensor.

Please could you help me? many thanks!

hooe this helps as I had the same problem but all I could do to keep the screen on was plug in some headphones and u can then Dail the digits as it keeps the screen on.
