Home screen back and compact key not responding

My xperia z c6602 the back key homescreen key and compact key isnt working
What should i do?

This could be related to software or hardware, you may need to use the Diagnostics to test the touch screen on the device.

1. From your Home screen, tap Settings
2. Find and tap  About phone > Diagnostics > Test .
3. Select the touch screen test
4. Follow the instructions and tap Yes or No to confirm if a feature works

Let me know if the touch screen works in this mode.
