Corrupt Sd card?

So I've put a micro SD card in my Xperia and I get the notification saying that it is corruptt, when I click, erase and repair it just gets stuck at 20% and doesn't do anything else, is this a problem with my phone or the SD card?

Could you test the SD card with a different phone or re-format the SD card with your computer

Same problem. Try it with two different sd cards, one of them brand new. PC read it ok.(Xperia Z5)

Same problem. Sd brand new corrupted 4 times in 6 days.. Z 5 compact.

i have the same problem with my xa ultra. at first it says its incompatible , then its corrupt and you have to erase and reformat,,,,all that happens is it gets to 20% and says it cannot erase it. now ive tried 4 cards(3 from my sony z3+ and one new...all duff aparently.

sonys answer is "full format through pc or book repair" great..
