Contacts not showing in contacts list after using search future

Hello,

I have a small BIG problem with contacts app after update to Android 5.0 lollipop on Xperia Z3 Compact. I Have a big ( local ) contacts database/list ( around 800 entries ). The problem's showing when I'm trying to find contact by using search future - it doesnt show me all contacts which has same attributes entered in search field. For excample: I Have 13 entries which surnames begins from " ZA " phrase, but search future shows me only 8 entries compared with that phrase, but I'm sure i have 13 entries with it. The funniest thing in it is that, the search future works ONLY WITH CONTACTS used from contacts app. Unsused contacts won't show after search. I tried to clear contacts app data from settings - doesn't worked.

Open your contacts and tap the option key and check if you have any filters turned on which will make some contact invisible

Checked it second time ( I did this earlier ), but to make sure to give a right answer I did it one more time. I don't have any filters turned on. Contacts are sorted by Surname, and in second submenu i have checked all "ticks" - which means I want the app to show me all existing contacts. The funniest thing in that problem is that, app show me only used ( called to in new system ) contacts after search. Unused contacts are "not visible" to Search future... I'm thinking about removing all contacts and recovering them back from *.vcf file which i made Yesterday, but I'm afraid that will cause all contacts unused earlier - in the scheme I wrote in this post.

OK I have a solution:

First export all contacts to a *.vcf file then delete all entries. Next import a backup *.vcf file and voila! Search future works : - )

Thanks...i too was having same problem but your suggestion worked and my problem solved.
