Contact name not showing when calling (incoming/outgoing)

Yesterday I updated my mobile to Android 7.0 on Xperia Z5 Premium. One issue which I am facing at the moment is that it is not showing the name of the contact when I am making a call or receiving the call. Contact is saved in my contacts and I tried different contacts.

Hi There,

I'm having the same issue as well. Upon upgrading my z5 Premium dual sim phone yesterday ( 9th Feb 2017). The calling out and incoming names from the contact no longer visible. It becomes all calls being anonymous... Please help. Thanks

Same story here. Z5 Compact, Android Nougat. Very uncomfortable, please help.

I from Brazil. I upgraded my Xperia Z5 to Android 7.0. When I receive a call from a contact in the phonebook, the name is not appearing. For information, my contacts are saved in Google account and the contact numbers have the long distance carrier code.

Finally I have solved it.

Go to settings - apps - Configure apps

Set phone (system) as default for Phone app.

If you are using other phone app, restart phone and switch back.

SCREEN DOESNOT DISPLAY CALLER ID FOR INCOMING CALL.

BLUETOOTH TURNS OFF AFTER IDLE.

RESETTED TWO TIMES, STILL FIGHTING OUT . AFTER RESTORING IT WONT WORK, I THING SOME APP IS CAUSING PROBLEM

Factory data reset have solved it. But small update required for mobile data two step toggle from quick notification, Bluetooth getting off.

Better factory data reset and add apps from playstore instead of backup
