Close all apps button missing Xperia Z3

After I updated to Lollipop, the "close all" button in recent apps has disappeared.

Strange to take away features in a "update", isn't it?

I found some issues in Xperia Z3 5.0.2 update and want to share with Sony Xperia Z3 software Developers

Please send it to Xperia Z3 software developers.

1- Device Freeze sometime when we open a game.

First issue that I am facing is that some time when we start a game device freeze and nothing happened i have to force restart the device to fix it
I face it on different games and believe me games are fully compatible with Lollipop, working fine on my Brother Note 4 lollipop.
Sony may need to fix the GPU drivers libs files in system. I am talking about this issue after examining every thing and it is surly related with software.

2- No Close all button in recent panel.

In Kitkat we have a close all button in recent app panel to close all apps at once, but no button in Lollipop.

3- No Camera Raw Capture in Stock & support for third party apps.

Lollipop it self have a feature to capture pictures in Raw format, but it seems Sony remove this feature from their update and also block it for third party camera apps and they are not able to get the permission from mobile to capture in Raw.
Please Sony If you don't want to give this feature in your stock camera app its fine for me, but at-least put this feature back in lollipop so that we can take picture in Raw with third party camera apps

4- No Stereo Ringtone Sound.

When some one call us then ringtone start ringing, and ring sound only come from bottom speaker more louder then very very low from top speaker.
You need to modify the sound files in system/etc/tfa98xx folder to fix this issue.

5- Device Getting slow charging

In Kitkat my z3 charged faster then the lollipop.
I can conform that i am using Sony Z3 Original charger for charge my device, and their is no issue in charger.
I am talking about this issue after examining every thing that it is surly related with software.

6- Device heating up more in 5.0.2 as compare to 4.4.4 while heavy usage

This will fix also when Sony Fix GPU drivers libs files in system as describe up, in note # (1)

7- Battery Drain is faster then the kitkat

I do not want to explain it more, because as I describe up their is an issue regarding Device heating up because of system files and obviously Battery drain is also faster then normal.

8- About Volume and Notifications

8.1- Some time my media sound automatically decrease from settings/sound & notification / Media Volume.
8.2- When silent mode off and interruptions are allowed for Notification even then some time my phone remain silent at the time of arrival of notifications.

Please send it to Xperia Z3 software developers

Removed features:

1. No longer able to longpress on dropdown menu items to bring up the related settings page. This was very useful, why was it removed?

2. Unable to change sound settings when screen is locked, and sound toggles are no longer in power menu.

3. No close-all button on recent apps.

4. Location based Wifi. This feature is completely missing.

Why were these features removed? Will they be brought back? Please?

Annoyances:

1. Having to drop down twice to get the full dropdown menu. Extremely irritating. Can this behaviour be fixed to make the menu appear in its extended state with a long slide and on its smaller state with a short slide or something?

2. Brightness slider right in the dropdown menu is nice, but no quick way to toggle auto brightness anymore. Could the dev team stick a little toggle somewhere in there?

3. No way to change accent color, it's always ugly orange (for example the swype effect). Why doesn't sony allow the user to pick a customized accent color in Themes?

4. Some UI elements still not "materialized", for example the little icons when you edit the home screen (widget, themes, etc).

Bugs:

1. X Reality doesn't seem to be working. I never use it because it makes photos and videos look overprocessed but I tried it and I'm pretty sure it makes no difference if it's on or not.

2. With Style Cover if you close the lid while doing something, then wait for a while (screen turns off), and open the lid, the screen turns on and for a split second the last thing you were doing on screen shows up before the lockscreen kicks in, this is a pretty nasty privacy leak because anyone opening the cover can get a glimpse of your stuff without unlocking your phone. The cover handling was always a little glitchy and weird looking though, Sony should really polish it, the cover is already very crappy by itself despite the price, and the software managing it seems to be even worse. On top of that there is no way that I know of to choose a background for the little window, in my case it always shows the homescreen wallpaper and not the lockscreen wallpaper.

Requests:

1. Could Sony make the volume controls similar to the way Samsung does them on their phone, with a little icon next to the slider that expands the controls to show all volumes (notification, media, alarms, etc)?

2. Any chance of a custom implementation for lockscreen Widgets? I know Google decided to remove them from Lolli, but Sony could implement them in a proprietary way?

3. Some way to customize accent colors or make custom themes right from the phone?

Xperia Z3 unbranded Italy.

Speaking of Camera RAW, I'm pretty sure manufacturers need to rewrite their camera software to use Google APIs instead of their own proprietary APIs. It's not a "feature" that Sony (or anyone) can remove at will, they need to rewrite their camera to use the new code. As far as I know none of the phones updated to Lolli got it, such as Samsung, LG, etc. I wish Sony would consider implementing the new APIs but they'll probably decide to not do it since the majority of smartphone camera users would not benefit from it. On top of that RAW capture needs special and expensive software on PC to be edited such as Adobe Lightroom.

After updating my sony z3 compact to lollipop 5.02 'close all' option for recent apps is gone. I have to manually close it one by one. In Kitkat there is an option to close all recent apps. Sony forgot this simple option.

That's standard Lollipop so speak to Google

We speak to Sony because they have the means to fix this issue with an in-house developed solution. Google's code can be customized, and adding that button or bringing back some of the features we lost is not a huge feat.

The close all apps feature did not stop the apps running in the background. It removed them from view and that was it.
